We breed pedigree Kunekune pigs for sale as either pets or breeding stock.
They are a friendly intelligent animal, good natured, easy to train and are suitable as a pet to keep in a paddock, large garden or orchard.
They thrive in company and love attention from humans.
They are also unique amongst pig breeds in that they can sustain themselves entirely on a diet of grass, with hay products and the minimum of supplements in the winter.
To help people become familiar with pigs, we regularly have people stay in our B&B and self-catering caravan to spend more time around our animals and becomes familiar with how to look after them. If you are not staying with us, and wish to visit, please contact us to make arrangements.
Kunekunes are the smallest domesticated breed of pig in the world. This has led some people to describe the breed (or cross-bred animals) as micro pigs, miniature pigs or even teacup pigs - as a newborn piglet can fit into one. It is important to remember that all piglets will grow, and to have realistic expecations about the full-grown pig they will eventually become. On the right are two of our breeding sows.
